During my time at Benthem Crouwel Architekten, I was involved in the preliminary and definitive design of the Grotiusbegouw, the new building for the Law Faculty of Nijmegen University. Seen from the outside the building seems to consist of three levels, but is made up of five storeys which are all visible in the atrium. Because of the recessed penthouse on the roof the building seems to be larger from the inside than from the ouside.
The building offers space for a lecture hall with 500 seats, a library, a restaurant and places to study and work.
